Is there a correct way to paint a spinner and not have it rub off with the starter, or is that just the way of life, so either get the matching colored one (Good Luck!) or re-paint every so often?

R/C Hobby Center in Dayton Ohio is offering spinner painting services. They use powder painting, which is very durable. Have color specs to match most monokote and ultracote colors. Contact John and Jeanette at

Go ahead and paint it however you want too, then flip start with finger or chicken stick instead of using a starter.

If it's a metal spinner, you can prime it, then paint it and bake it in the oven on low-super low for an hour. I've had good results that way.

Chris300s,
What paint/primer should I use for an aluminum spinner to follow your baking process?

Thanks.

P-40

Nothing special, Lutrekote, Chevron or Perfect Paints all work. Just be carefull to keep the temp at the lowest setting or you'll darken your colcors. I'm trying out PPG Concept paints this weekend but for color matching. Any fuel proof paint should work for the spinner.
