Default installing fiberglass

I have applied the glass with mini-wax in the past with mixed results...Mini now has a sanding sealer .. Would it be possible to lay down the first coat on the glass with the sanding sealer, would this provide the proper adhesion of glass to the wood? , as well as sealing the wood..Has anyone tried this method, and how did it come out...

Sanding sealer is used primarily to fill the weave of the glass after the
initial laminating. I would use some regular resin for the lay-up.

I used minwax water based poly on my Cessna 182 instead of resin. I applied sanding sealer BEFORE anything else. 2 coats of sanding sealer, sand, apply glass and polycrylic. Worked great, saved weight, and was a lot less messy than epoxy.
