I was going to show some club members flite metal. I am not an expert and my work is only average. Having been the only one who ever used flite metal, I was just going to show them what I knew.I had an old cowling that I had primed I was going to cover just to show them. I had put glue rivets on the cowl and it had been primed. I was going to sand the rivets off but left them on. I put the flite metal on and the rivets look really great. you get a tracing wheel to make rivets when you buy the flite metal. It makes a line of evenly spaced "dents" in the surface to simulate rivets. This is go much better A great finish would be :
1 glass airplane as usual
2 Prime and sand airplane as usual.
3 Draw panel lines on in pencil.
4 Add glue rivets
5 using panel lines lay on flite metal as you normally would one panel at a time
6 Leave natural or prime paint and weather. Let all those little rivets shine!
Has anyone ever tried this before?

Actually Acerpal it would be best to first apply Flite-Metal then use either the rivet wheel and minimum rivet material or use our multi-color Rosie Riveter system and forego using the rivet wheel.
