I have made a bomb drop out of a steel tube to with a wide diameter to let the parachute people fall out easier and i didn't need to fuel proof it due to it being tin. I then decided to try a "pringles" chip tube because it had a smaller diameter and the coating inside will let the men slip out with ease. But what paint can I use, and/ or what can i spray on to fuel proof it?
also I am using a pin where i the plane on its side and the pin comes out, but i was thinking about using the lid along with a servo connected to a servo horn by a cable. Question is how would i hinge the lid to the tube?

You could use any fuel proof paint on the can. If your paint isnt fuel proof you could even spray a coat of poly to fuel proof it. Just put it on it light coats so that you dont soften the can up. Good thing is, is that its easy to expirement. If it doesnt work, throw it away and go eat some more pringles.
