If you plan on flying knife edge I would make the rudder bigger. See if you can glue on another inch or so on to the back of the old rudder.
Make sure to epoxy coat all around the engine and inside where the fuel tank sits.
I covered mine in transparent red/white (like the rascal) and the dark laser cutting/burning can be seen through the transparent color so I would stay away from transparent or spend the time to sand out the dark cuts.
The aluminum landing gear will bend after time, replace with a fiber glass gear.
That's about it that I can think of. Enjoy the plane!
