Default Rustoleum paint over plastic film.

Hi all,

I have read from elsewhere on RCU that the Rustoleum brand paint stick well over prepared plastic film when compared to other brands. I usually use Createx Auto Air over film with excellent results but I am tired of keep cleaning clogged airbrush. I tried Krylon (Fusion for plastic) but the bond is extremely weak. Testors can are expensive and Lustercoat takes too long to dry. Please advise. I am planning to paint my GP Fokker DVII in all white scheme. DP

Hey Dai,

I use nothing but Auto Air for painting, both with a airbrush and a full size gun with no problems. Are you thinning it for airbrush use. I sometimes thin up to 50% depending on my tip size. I haven't had a tip clog at all. Can't answer your question about Rost-o since I don't use it.
