Default Masking Litespan

I am getting ready to cover a Lazy Bee with litespan. I was planning on airbrushing on the trim shceemes. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to mask this covering? This material is somewhat more fragile than conventional covering material and I am concerned about dammaging it while applying or removing a mask.
