Default Fuel-proofing TAMIA paints

I am using TAMIA COLOR AIRSPRAY paint because I do not have airbrush or a touch up paint gun and the quality of the finish from the spray can is surprisingly good. But I'm not sure how to fuel-proof it. There is a clear coat available (in gloss only) but I doubt it's fuel-proof intended.

I would like to know how to fuel-proof for both GLOSS and MATT finishes.
Has anyone used these paints with success?

THNX for helping,
Vasek

If the Tamiya paint you are using is Polycarbonate Paint then it is already fuel proof. This paint is used for the car/truck bodies made of Lexan and used on glow powered vehicles.

You don't have to caot it unless you want to increase the shine and a High Gloss Clear is available from Tamiya.
