Default servo lead clips

I have seen several fasteners to keeps servos from pulling apart. The 'black boxes' with a snap lid are prone to opening, especially with a vibrating gas engine. I did see some other kinds (simple in design, green in color) and can not find any luck by googling a description. Any leads out there?

Both of these work well. One twisted wire, the other flat wire.

I use and like the yellow clips FLPilot mentioned, but only on the ailerons on a plane with a wing that must be removed for transport. On all of my other servos I use dental floss to tie the servo plugs and sockets together. Works for me.

I use cotton thread, get several hundred joints out of a bobbin and in a smash it will break with out damaging the leads.

A wrap of 3M 'electrical' tape has worked for me for years.

Terry, Do you have any issues with the connectors being sticky when unwrapped? I did that for awhile but it left the connectors sticky. The shrink wrap works good but is a little costly. I only went to string because I was out of shrink wrap, it worked ok so I stuck with it.

I use whatever I have laying around....have used dental floss, masking tape, Blenderm, electrical tape, spider wire monofilament, etc. Poke around a bit and you'll probably come up with lots of possibilities.

I just use dental floss or thread. Cheap, simple, effective, easy to remove.

OldScale, that's some good lookin teeth in that smiley face. LOL

Like one poster said above, I use whatever is lying around including zip ties, lacing cord, dental floss, adhesive tape of various types, the little black boxes, the little yellow servo lead clips, and yes the black electrical tape makes them sticky but it isn't hard to clean off.

Dental floss. Besides, my connectors have not had a single cavity since I started using it.

I am sometimes a bit of a klutz and have pulled an extension off inside the wing and had to re-snake it back through. I don't use anything where the connectors are easy to get to and I've never had one come apart in the air either; only from my clumsy self accidentally snagging it on the ground and pulling one apart. I guess the point here is I haven't seen them come apart either (been flying RC for 37 yrs) without some human intervention whether intentional or unintentional.

i've had a throttle servo come unplugged (loosened rather) from the receiver, didn't know what had happened. finally figured it out and used a rubber band around the entire receiver and plugs. seems to work fine. similar to other ideas here, dental floss, etc. it doesn't take much.
