Default CA glue stain removal

Anyone know a good solvent that can take off the whitish stain from CA glue on monokote and canopy surface? I used the CA Debonder but it caused canopy surface to feel rough afterward. I think Debonder does eat a bit into the canopy material.

I think that Naptha will remove the fogging and it won't hurt the canopy. I have been told that Future floor polish will also remove it but I havn't tried that yet.

Acetone will remove it from the Monocote with out buggering up the covering. Don't rub too hard, just use a soft cloth with some acetone on it and rub gently. Let the solvent do the work. I can't be sure it would be safe to use on the canopy though.

Pure Nitro Methane will soften CA. Try it on a piece of canopy material. I used it to get some CA off a Composite ARF fuse. I did not hurt the finish.

WD-40 will remove the whiteish blushing from Monokote. Then use windex to remove the WD-40 oil.

WD 40 eh? I'll try it on the canopy in addition to a bit of Naptha. I'll use the acetone on the monokot covering part so I don't have to worry about clean up there. But canopy is more tricky area to get rid of CA glue stains.

WD 40 did it, worked awesome. Thanks for the tip. I always thought of it as lubricant, not a cleaner.

Not sure what it's made of but Super Solvent is the best I've found for cleaning up CA spills and runs.[link=http://www.constantines.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=36]Super Solvent link[/link]

Information on Acetone keep it away from a plastic canopy. Don't even ask how i know that. But luckily i used just a small amount and not the complete canopy.
