Default Camo colors

Hi I am repainting my top flight p39 Airacobra and I want to do it with camo colors but I am not shur what colors to use. I like the desert storm camo color but not sure if it would look good in that color. does any one have any ideas about the colors and what brand or type of paint to use please find attached original photo of my p39

thanks to all Daniel.

You might also ask in the warbird forum. i'm sure those hardcore warbird guys know exactly what you need, where to find documentation, etc.

Hiflyer,

I personally would look around for a good scheme first.

Must be many available on that particular airplane.

Once the scheme is decided on, you can select your paint brands and colors.

That suggestion about the Warbird enthusiasts and what they would recommend, is a good idea.

Post a photo when the model is completed, or start a paint build Thread. Be interesting to follow.

Good luck,

Charles

If you take a closer look you will see the cheep clear coat pealing off Specially on the leading edge of the wing it was getting to look like a mess and it was getting harder and harder to clean after each flight .
