Default Dirty Birdy

For a finished warbird (in this case a P-51B) I'd like to give it some scale crud around the gun ports and exhaust stacks in particular. I'll also finish it off with a little flat clear coat to dull the finish a bit. Any suggestions on what to use?

So you want to weather it,I done plastic scale models with differnt technics but for RC. I don't know if the same thing works.Check out armoramma.com just for fun,lot's of good craftsmen on there,I'm sure someone on here will be more helpfull.

http://www.armorama.com/ Here is the link I can't see why you couldn't use some ideas from here as long as your gonna clear it with fuel proofing of somekind.
