how do you make fiberglass cowl I heard someone say you can use styrofoam for a mold and epxoy fiber glasses cloth to that? any ideas or pointers

If it is a one time cowl do a "Lost Foam" method.

FWIW - When I do a glass cowl I ALWAYS cover the foam plug with low temp film. SOME epoxy resins WILL EAT some types of foam. The film covering ensures that everyone stays on their "diet". {:-)
