I have abadger 150 airbrush and shooting gloss latexpaint is hit and miss. sometimes it works great and sometimes it spits paint. I've tried the fine, medium, large tips. The thinner I mix the paint does seem to help though. BUT, flat paints shoot great everytime doesn't really matter on the paint/thinner mix. Know for my question. What would the finish look like if I sprayed flat paint then put a gloss clear coat over the flat paint. I have a pica 1/5 Waco to paint. Fairly scale and a TF P-40 with all the bells and whisltes. I know your answe is try and see but I was wondering if anyone else has tried before
Thanks

I have done this many times with other types of paint
but never with latex, however, I would expect that the
results would be the same.
Bottom line ............it should work fine.
As always, test it on a piece of scrap first

Randy,
You Da MAn :rainfro: . Flat shoots 10 times better than any other paint thru my badger 150. Go figure. So if I spray flat then gloss clear I was hoping for a gloss finish. Gloss piant sends me into fits I will figure it out someday but for know I don't want to screw up the Waco. Alot of time has gone into this projects
