Default ca on pants

HEELLPP!! I haven't had the time to go through this whole thread and the answer I'm looking for may already be in here somewhere, but I'll post my question anyway. Can anyone tell me how to get CA out of the brand new pants that my wife just bought for me? She's going to have a fit when she sees it!!! Thanks in advance!

You're dead...

Buy new pants and throw the old ones in the neighbor's trash.

Thanks, guys. Actually the wife, with her exquisite ESP found out before I could hide the pants, but being the jewel that she is, she thought about the acetone fix and all is well.

Default acetone

I replied to you from rcwarbirds column but will also reply here.

Acetone will work and if you cant get it but can get absorbine JR it will work too just slower as it is 65% acetone. Acetone is also an antiseptic so if you get a cut use acetone or absorbine jr on it and it will heal 10 times faster but it will sting like an SOB for a couple seconds.

My wife tried the acetone and it didn't work. Maybe it's not strong enough. I'll also try the absorbine. It's cheaper than a new pair of pants. Thanks.

You may have to let the are sit in the acetone for a few minutes to soften up then scrape it off just like you soak your glue tips in acetone for a while. I dont think just putting it on for a minute or two will do it.

The acetone needs time to soften the CA.

If it still doesn't work, you now own a very expensive pair of work pants.
