Correx/coreflute adhesive.
 

Can anyone advise what adhesive/glue is suitable for sticking the correx/coreflute board to itself and to balsa.

In the UK they have a Bostik product (I think) called EVO-STIK impact adhesive, which is unavailable under that name in Australia.

I have tried liquid nail type construction adhesive and though it seems fine, it takes about 5 days to set.

You can glue this with thick CA type glue after removing the mold release agents from the plastic. The website will explain how to do that.

Tried several times to get the site to come up.
When I did a little help with our club Spad projects, we sanded
the area to be glued then cleaned with alcohol. We used the
med. Ca for the aileron lap joint and epoxy for the yard-stick
airfoil spacer.

I clean the coro by "flashing with a propane torch, then I clean it off with alchohol, using CA only use a small drop every 1/4" or so, if you use to much it makes a mess and does not set up worth a darn. Practice the flashing on a piece of scrap, takes a little getting use to, you just want to burn off the release agents (oils?) off the plastic, if it warps slightly wait for it to cool down and it should go back to its origional shape.

We do virtually the same thing as John B, however we use a heptane base cleaner after flashing, then we run a woodpecker to perferate the coroplast...this seems to give the extra CA some place to go. We also use Thin CA, just small dots every 1/4" or so.

We purchase the Cleaner as part of a plasitc glueing kit from Lowes or Home Depot. You will see the little jar of cleaner with the glue...it's easy to find.

We have built many wings and never had one come apart. We also tried to take one apart...you can't pull it apart.
