I bought a really nice test rig and mounted it to a metal folding sawhorse.
It has perfect height and is easy to tune engines on.
Plus the whole shebang folds up and sits in the garage.

Can't remember the manufacturer but they really make a nice product.

I epoxied the wood plank and painted it with some old K and B paint.

It has worked out very well.

Built this one that can be clamped to WorkMate or picnic bench... light, cheap, small... My kind of stand...

Cheers!
I have a couple very similar to yours, Jimmbbo. They work great and last forever.

That looks identical to mine.

I added a "keel", a block of wood that affixes to the underside very securly, which I merely clamp into the Workmate's built in divided center.

Good idea!
