Default broke in 2.5r

well went to park for tuning run with last glow plug, lasted 10 min. had [hsn] set at 4 turns out and low speed set at 1.5 turns out, called traxxas before park run to find after break in adj. setting, do those adj. sound right, this thing is kickin my but..........

I haven't operated a 2.5 in years but the HSN settings sounds correct....try leaning it out in small increments, keep track of your adjustments...dont go to lean. Try setting the LSN flush then work from there. Are you getting it started at least?

just talked to traxxas the said its either to lean or fron bearing leak, thats b. s. i will bye oz if this new motor leaks......yes tarts and idles fine just acks like no fuel......

Can you rev the engine? If it is idleing that means fuel is getting to the engine. When you pull the throttle is it opening the carb? Inspect the carb for leaks, buy a rebuild kit and replace any worn o rings or washers. If the engine will rev I would start to look at the clutchbell, flywheel, and the transmission. Make sure nothing is stripped. If you were leaking from the front bearing you would notice it. I had my 2.5 front bearing go out on me aswell...here is a pic of what the leak looked like after starting it.
