New to me TMaxx 4909
I had bought a Stampede 4x4 brand new and used it for a month before I bought a used Savage 25 (motor not broken in yet) and a Savage 25 roller from a buddy at work. Well since the Savage came along I wasn't into the Stampede for it's smaller size and knowing there isn't some internal combustion going on
. So up on CL it went until a guy literally across the street from me in another apt complex emailed me about trading straight up for a 4909 T-Maxx.Great guy, and after coming over last night to run eachothers trucks for a bit the deal was done. It brakes harder than my savage and will wheelie more often than the savage and yet they feel the same weight.
From what I'm told and can see it has:
Integy metal spur gear
Integy bulkheads
RPM upper and lower arms
RPM skid plate
Everything I got in the trade:
Does not show a pipe in this pic, but it has a brand new one on it.

Thanks, now I'm torn on what truck to keep. The Savage or Tmaxx lol I may sell one to fund a motor upgrade for the other. I don't see a point to have two nitro MT's. I may look into getting a Slayer to be able to run with my buddies better at his house when he builds a backyard track.

I'll tell you what, if you lower this truck , put some wheels with less offset to widen the stance, kick the rear wheel toe in and the front wheel caster in it handles a hell of a lot better and more race worthy.
