RE: Traxxas Summit
The guy that runs this site takes orders for cnc machined aluminum diff cups for the Summit! The flexing in the stock plastic diff cases is imho alot of the reason for diff failure. They don't seem to be too outrageously priced either. I would love to get a set of these. Totaly awesome indeed ^_^

RE: Traxxas Summit
that is a great picture, my Summit is Green, (for now) too.
side note: I am starting to hate that everything about the Summit gets thrown into this thread. Posts that have absolutely nothing to do with the previous post, thats because this is somehow the only thread to talk about the Summit? Should be a forum topic with seperate threads, like every other forum.

Not being a smart ass, but how do you charge an 8,200mah battery at 1C when the charger only charges at a max of 5 amps? 1C for an 8,200 would be 8.2 amps. You would need a much beefier charger to do that.
From the charger description "Charge rate: 0.1A...5.0A; Discharge rate: 0.1A...1.0A "
ORIGINAL: LaTuFu
Here is my setup, $85 shipped from Hobbypartz.com
(2) of these chargers
This power supply
I can charge both of my 8200s from LVC in about 60-90 minutes at 1C with this setup. They also have storage and discharge modes. Not the most powerful setup, but its a great starter setup.
Later this year, when my wife lets me buy something RC related again, I'll be getting a Powerlab 6.
