All said and done I love the stock summit body with the roll cage and all, it's hands down the best traxxas body there is.
Me too. Ithink it's hands down the most durable basher shell I've ever seen. I haven't even bothered trying to fit another body to mine because of how much abuse it will take.

If anything, I have thought about running it on my Revo from time to time.

All tower lists are the clear ones: http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXWWD9&P=7 no sign of the pro graphix ones yet.. $26 for the clear shell. I am going to draw up a conversion body mounts for use with any 3.3 revo body. My neighbor has the F-250 super duty proline 3.3 body on his and it is sweet. The truck bodies look very nice on the summit, but you lose the advantage (and cool factor) of the exo roll cage.
Have a good one,
Jay

I've only seen new bodies on Stormer, Ebay, and Tower.  And only clear ones.  They will have the prografix soon, I'm sure.  You can get one for the Revo.  But I prefer the clear.  I like painting my own.

What bodies to you have in mind? The Stampede is considered 1/10 scale but I'm sure a Stampede body won't even come close to fitting. Why Traxxas does not sell the revo and summit as 1/8 scale is beyond me.

Nice pics, that is one muddy summit. What is the servo doing? Is it making a clicking noise or is it completely dead? Might be best just to replace it either way and keep it in case you can use the gears from it or something.

Its not doing anything....i even tried helping it with the wrench. Doesnt traxxas have a warranty on all the electronics flat rate of $15 to rebuild?

They have a 30 day replacement warranty on electronics and they might help you out if it's not long past that but I'm not sure about anything else, worth giving them a call to find out. I was really hoping the smaller version of the hitec waterproof servo would fit but I just checked it out and it looks to be a little bit too big.

Call Traxxas support and see what they'll do for you.

And/or grab a new micro servo on Ebay.  last time I bought one I think I paid $10 for it.

You might try plugging the suspect servo into a reciever channel that you know a servo is working on. Steering, diff lock etc. If the servo works then you know you need to dry your rx (if moist) or you will know for sure the servo is toasted. Once in a while they can fool you. I've replaced servos, plugged them into something else later and they work.
lol you put that truck through it's paces. You might not want to put the tires in the sink this time (she would know).
Thanks for the muddin pics, looks like it was getting heavy.

Just installed the HPP hubs on my Summit. I think they look pretty good with the Proline rims.
