Default Dewalt motor

I have seen several people putting in dewalt brushed motors in a summit and emaxx. Any idea of the power compared to brushless motors and stock motors on these trucks. I was thinking about buying a truck with a dewalt brushed motor included on a truck. thanks for the help.

Does anyone know if you can put a dewalt or milwakee motor in a Stampede?

Just go brushless, i was gonna go with a dewalt 14.4v motor on my tmaxx conversion but the good people here steered me away from that and i thank them. I went with a hobbyking m6a combo on 3s and its ballistic.

I sealed my inrunner with a small bit of silicone sealant on the back of the can and a fiber washer and a dab of grease around the shaft bearing and have run in wet conditions before without problem

you can also get them from your local dewalt service centres. [link=http://dewalt.com/Find-Service-Center.aspx]click[/link] Ask for new style motor.
If you need a part number google will find the dewalt numbers.
I got mine out of a used drill bit of a gamble but worked out ok and made me money when i sold the charger and case off.
