I think the Titans don't have the best reputation with longevity. Go with a 4 pole 550 sized brushless motor and call it a day. That's the conclusion that I'm coming to. I reverted back to some brushed motors to use up some of my brushes that I had laying around. Well, I haven't found the right brushed motor I guess, because they all run hot no matter what gear I throw at them.

Well it really depends on the context. if you already burned a motor b4 that one, maybe its because you are overtaxing the car
