RE: 4-Way Steering
There is more than one way to do it. The simplest way (besides buying a kit) is to mount a servo where the tank is and mount the steering setup in front of the rear diff. The only problem with this is that the arms will not clear the chassis braces. To fix this, cut the spacers on the steering supports in half and this will move the steering up out of the way. I have seen some kits that mount the servo in the back, this will keep everything out of harms way. The other way I have done this is on a custom chassis. You can mount a front skidplate on the rear and set up the steering as stock. This will however require either a longer chassis or custom chassis braces. When I did mine I used a 4 channel radio from an airplane and had independent steering front and rear. You could also tie the servos together and let them work together. I will post pics if you want to see.
