aluminum shock ends. then, get the close ratio gear set, cant wait to get mine.[8D]

nothing drive it hard a make sure everything breaks,j/k i would say save up enough and buy all the aluminum parts you can thats what i did

optidrive acts as one, but you cant set it for when it kicks in, it just neutrals the servos. but, adding a real one to set braking would be a good idea

Optidrive does NOT act as a failsafe and most failsafes will not work in conjunction with the optidrive. There is passive protection in the form of a throttle return spring, but thats it.
I would say that the best available hop up are different springs.
