Twin brushless e-maxx?
Has anyone had the experience of using a y-servo cable and 2 novak 5800 brushless systems in an e-maxx? If so, How does it run? I am thinking of doing this in the future. I curruntly have the novak system in a stampede, but I would need a second system to do this in my maxx. I would like to know how it works before I splurge for the second motor and ESC!!

RE: Twin brushless e-maxx?
I am going through this with a friend of mine. The main problem is getting the two speedos working together. Sometimes it runs great the other times the two motors seem to be fighting each other. Also watch your tranny gears. I'm sure its something we are doing but he called novak and they suggested that the new hv maxx brushless will outperform both 5800s together. I think he's convinced to put the 5800s in a couple of other vehicles (hopefully he will let me buy one). If you get more info and get them running right then post it and let us know.
By the way even when both brushless motors were running all right my tmaxx would smoke him.

RE: Twin brushless e-maxx?
Three words of advice:
DON'T DO IT!
I did and I was incredibly disappointed. The speed did not seem any better. The torque was great. For the money it cost (>$400) I wish I had spent it on a hacker B50 and a Schulze 18.97.
Oh, and with less than 30 minutes of run time I just sent one of the motros back to Novak today. Seems the gear end of the shaft decided to wiggle out.
Also had thermal problems with stock gearing.
