Default tmaxx problem - throttle response

I have run into a problem the past couple of days. I give my truck throttle and the engine revs but does not move. Once i hit about 1/2 throttle it will start to move at a slow speed. If i give it full throttle it just kicks right out. The truck was running fine the past few months and this has me running in circles looking for problems. The response is not there like it was.

how long have you had it? Is the spur gear stripped? Is anything binding. Are you running REALLY rich?

had it for a 6 months or so. the spur gear seems to be fine and it is running just a tad on the rich side. Everything seems to be running free inside.

IT sounds like your really rich. Does the motor sound sluggish? When you start to go does it seem to trudge along?
if its cutting out as you approach WOT you could be flooding your engine.

If his truck is not moving it is not a tunning issue altough he could lean it out a bit. Is the CB and spur spinning when you give it gas? If your spur if fine then check your slipper to make sure it is tight (tighten it down all the way then back it of 1/8-1/4 turn). If that is not the problem you may need to look in the tranny![8D]

make sure the flywheel is tight and the clutch is fine, i had simliar problems, the engine would rev very high but the truck would move real slow, turned out that the flywheel was lose.

Same thing happened to me ,slipper pegs in the spur gear were finished, also melted the spur A little to .I replaced the stock 6 and added 6 ,so I run with 12 slipper pegs now ,works great!!
