The hell with the opti drive!!! The reverse and forward is crap. I don't use reverse at all because of that. Put in the forward only conversion for 13 bucks.

Well, pretty much yeah, dont use Revewrse to much and it will be fine. Even when it does start to act up it will be fine in forward. I am putting in the forward only conversion on it today. According to my cousin his a lil more sna[ppy with reverse gone. Opti drive is now strictly a Rx. pack monitor. Otherwise the Revo is pretty much bulletproof for me so far and I have all out beat the snot out of it. Great truck and really fast. I have been getting like 15 to 20 feet of air at rock quarry and havent bhroken a thing.

Maybe it was just my truck?? I also stripped the rear diff on the 12th tank when I first got it. Traxxas replaced it free of charge, I then shimmed them and have not had a problem yet. But I always have bad luck at first with these things

Absolutely no problems with my Revo at all here. I love it. I definetly recommend P2 or P3 rockers for any jumping over 3 feet or so.

I Ran my revo the other day and I ran it full throttle in reverse, it shifted to 2nd lol

To clean the eye you need to take off the screws that is holding on the cover that the wire goes into on the tranny case. I havent looked, but the eye should probably be in there.
