Default THE REVO IS SERIOUSLY UNDERPOWERED

IS IT JUST ME OR IS IT PAINFULLY SLOW?

DON'T YOU AGREE?

IT MUST DO ABOUT 2 MPH!

But everyone is scared to acknowledge this fact!!!

" As other over powered cars wheel spin off (and over take me) the Revo turns perfectly and catches them up on the corner" Quote from english RC magazine apart from the insult obviously!

Can someone anyone admit this fact!

You must not know how to tune an engine, or just suck at setup all together. My Revo pulls in some really fast lap times at my track. It has plenty of torque, and top speed. Whats the point of your post? other than starting a flame on a Traxxas forum. Do you even own a Revo?

my REVO is so darn slow, it only rides on 2 wheels half the time... Seriously, not too many MT's should be pulling away from you if its tuned right...

ok, we'll call it the 2mph scream machine

When he means spin tires, does he mean on the dirt?

if so, I want to laugh in his face, mine spins so much its hard to punch the throttle in dirt, I'll start to fish tail.

Most of the guys I know racing a revo are turning lap times that would put them in the expert 8th buggy A main. It must be you.

PERHAPS...

He has the LST and is going to put a big block engine in it, so he believe it will beat the living crap out of the Revo, so he is trying to rub it in everyones faces. My theory anyway.

My revo lives on two wheel. At the the track i can gett he tuck up on two wheels, and sit it on the back bumper then let the truck spin in a circle. Its insane to watch!!!!

Well....... The Revo that I saw must have been very badly tuned and the RC mag post just seemed to compliment my theory so I suppose I am wrong and no I don't own a Revo It dosen't excite me and I'm not a racer I don't own an LST either I own a SUT which is fast enough for me.

I am now posting for my bro he is not convinced here is his opinion:

"I am very keen to buy a revo and have an FG but I am still not scared of the fact that it needs a new engine straight away. I still have respect for the Revo it has alot of good features to it but come on! it is underpowered but I will have my own one very soon and will share my real life findings soon also!"

Remeber not me my bro[]

From Justin not ME!

P.S. Don't shoot the messenger

The November issue of Nitro magazine clocked the Revo at 40 mph, Lst at 39mph and the Genesis at 41 mph. I can tell you since I switched to Odonnells 30% fuel my Revo is running faster than 40 mph and it gets there alot faster than it used to. It also runs cooler than it used to. I think its a matter of setting up your vehicle. Some people cant tune engines. then allot of guys go with the manufacturers recommendations for fuel and glow plugs. I read these forums and go with the set ups that get the best performance out of my vehicle!!!!!!!!
