TX Batteries
Hi All, i'm a new revo owner and was wondering if i soldered a charging lead to the + and - terminals in the Tx and filled it with 8 nicads i could then charge it with the supplied revo charger, i know the revo Rx pack is five cell and the Tx will be 8 cell but will the charger still charge it?

RE: TX Batteries
No, it wouldn't fully charge it, a five cell pack is 6v an 8 cell pack is 9.6 volts, a charger built to charge a five cell battery pack will only charge @ six volts, you need to charge @ 9.6 volts, unless the charger has multiple settings, you can't safely charge the Tx pack.
get a good charger, their not too expensive.
