RE: mip boost bottle
that thing is useless to, everything like that is useless NOS, turbo chargers, cold air intakes their all gimiks, they all ruin ur engine and cost lots of money, its so much easier to just save that money and put it twards a new better, more powerful engine, which will last you longer, and will give you more power (forgot to tell you that all these things really dont give you that much more power)
have fun

RE: mip boost bottle
Dont the boost bottles fry your plug really quick?
I heard you had to drill a hole in the case or something of that nature.
I just read the instructions, it isnt that hard.

RE: mip boost bottle
i didnt until i read the instructions.
I can't believe i'm doing this but:
Take off the nut that is clamping down the carb.
Take off carb.
Slide black pressure tap and nut in the spot for the clamping screw.
Put the guide bushing on the carb so that the non threaded hole faces the cooling head and align with the hole in the black pressure tap.
Tighten down the bushing by screwing in the thumb screw on the threaded side of the bushing.
Drill a hole through the open space in the bushing with the bit provided on low speed.
Take off the bushing and reinstall the carb making sure the hole and tap line up.
Tighten the steel locknut and secure the carb.
Thats how I understood it.

RE: mip boost bottle
I have no opinion on whether or not they work, but that is how you install it. It is basically an airchamber that you attach to the motor near the carb mount location. So you need to tap a hole into your motor near the carb hole. I'm not sure exactly how that extra remote airspace is supposed to improve performance. It seems an aweful lot like a hammer reducer you attach to plumbing on a house.
