Rolling at idle?
I need some help with my Revo, it rolls when I'm idling, what could be wrong?
I just put my needles back to factory I'll prolly get to test that out tuesday because I have a basketball game tomorrow night.
Any help would be appreciated*cough*Thermal*cough*
EDIT: It might help if I described it a little better, it runs around like I have it on 1/4 throttle when I'm not touching the trigger.

RE: Rolling at idle?
check your throttle servo trim on the controller, turn the idle screw down, recenter the throttle servo, or loosen and rotate the carb to adjust where the closed position is.

Its down to where traxxas says it should be stock, if my needle settings dont work i may try turning the idle down even more
I'll try that
Do i loosen it by loosening the silver nut on the below the carb? By closed do you mean touching idle screw?

take ur air filter off and make the opening in the carb around 1 to 2 mm (when the throttle is in idle position) and try that. Thats gotta be it.

RE: Rolling at idle?
I have found the problem, the spring holding on the clutch shoe was broke at one of the loops that held it on.
Now since I have it apart...I think I've decided to upgrade to alumnium if it gives me any more performance. Does it? Does a 3 or 4 shoe clutch provide any higher performance than the 2 shoe? And if so, can I put a 3 or 4 shoe flywheel/clutch on it?

lol, anyone know anything about the Nova RC adjustable clutch shoes, you can put screws in the shoes to weigh them down and tune them how you like, they sound pretty cool.
