Tmaxx Temp Question
My tmaxx is leaned out just about to the max and no matter how long i run it hard the temp doesnt go over 120-140f this seems to be pretty low with what ive seen ppl posting about their temps, Is this bad for the engine to run this low ? other than that the truck is running sweet as, wheelies on demand and speed is amazing !!!

RE: Tmaxx Temp Question
At what point after starting it are you taking the temps?? Those temps are not right and you should be above 200f for normal operating temp. If you run it to rich it can ware out your engine alot faster.

RE: Tmaxx Temp Question
Are you sure it isn't 220-240 F? It shouldn't be possible to burn fuel in the engine without the temps climbing well over that, unless your taking the temps right after start-up.. You don't live in antarctica do you?

RE: Tmaxx Temp Question
It should run like **** that cold. I can't believe your getting proper ingition throughout the RPM range with those temps. But if its running well, I'd say don't sweat it. Although your engine will not break-in properly unless you are hitting the target temp range.

RE: Tmaxx Temp Question
i think you better check yout temp gun again, cuz 120-140 C = 240-280 F, which would explain wheelies and speed.
there is no other logical explanation.....
