Default EZ start worked ALL day then stopped

I was playing with my T-maxx today and it was all good, no problems on starting or anything but when it stalled upside down it would not start. Nothing would happen. The ez start wouldnt even move a bit. I tried it without the glow plug and same thing. I checked the wires, reconnected the black and red one, cleaned the truck and nothing. Both the lights on the starter lights up. I even changed the battery pack as well. What could be wrong??? The gears in it??

Ok, I opened the Ez Start and then tested only the motor. It is good. I'm guessing there is not enough grease in there since all that grease is now little smalll soft pebbles. Now I have to get grease. What kind of grease can I use?? I know not the automobile grease [&o]

if the motor is good and the lights light up green you have a bad wire connection somewhere or a bearing is froze up but i doubt it. I had a question to add. I had a problem with the one way bearing just spinning on the outdrive shaft on the back of the motor. I changed the shaft and it fixed the problem. Now that i have the picco .21 I am starting to have the same problem. Is it just the ezstart system screwing up the output shaft on the motor or does this just happen after a while? I think im going pullstart within the next day or two. Any advice that will keep me from buying new shafts will be appreciated.

well I already found my problem out. The grease for the gears was gone and I am asking what kind of grease I can use.

Hang in there with the EZ start setup aznherb36. With proper maintenance and a motor tuned close its a great setup.
I pitty the fools who shout pull start 'cause of the weight and they can't remember to charge their battery lol(OH, and the BULK lol, it has a belt clip for christ sakes [:-]).
Mine has worked for 7 gallons, with 3 of those the P2 .21.
I could not imagine starting my foul .21 with a pull start.

Agreed. The EZ Start is a great system. Never had a single problem on any of my trucks that have it.
