RE: Traxxas Jato
I spoke with Traxxas just a little over a week ago on this rig. He said it's due out at the end of April.
I asked about the projected price, and he said that their marketing department ultimately has the final say, but that it would probably be in the 350-ish range.
He also mentioned that the few prototypes they are working with are extremely fast, and that they handle incredible.
It's most definitely on my "must have" list.
It really looks like they did their homework on this one.
The beauty of it is that any aftermarket TM engine will fit. Imagine that thing with a hot running .18, -that'd really be sweet!

RE: Traxxas Jato
Question.........My buddy has a 1/8 Ofna with a .26 4wd......single speed......Thing handles great, has insane speed......I want one now!
Since all i have is my revo to go buy,,, ( constantley flipping) Will the Jato being a 2wd truck, just be all out of control?
I want to be able to throw a set of street tires on the Jato and keep up with my friend....Would that be possible?

It'll take more than just tires. You'd probably be better off trying him with your Revo than a Jato since you'd have more control with the 4wd Revo.
