My atenna broke off and I read in the forum to just get a new one from LHS and sauder it on the board. I opened the receiver box and I see the board but how do I get to the underside of it? The wire is saudered on the underpart.

So I went to my LHS bought some grease for my gears. geeze, $4.50 for a little sqeeze bottle. I asked if they had antenna wire and the guy said no. He started to say like the wire is a certain x and that the manufactureers have certain ones and blah blah blah and they I have to buy a new receiver. And I know from a friend that he's really experienced with RC's. geeze. So where can i buy wire for a t-maxx??

You need 24 inches of 24 gauge wire. A single wire from a phone cable works.

The single phone wire doesnt seem to be 24 guage, seems likes its a little smaller than the actual antenna

The insulation is probably thinner. The gage goes by the diameter of the copper wire only.
