I use 50 wt oil in my stock shocks along with 4 trinity blue springs. And honestly i noticed a diffrence but, not by much. So i would imagine just the oil by itself would make little diffrence. Try 70 wt oil. hope this helped.

It depends, what are you trying to eliminate? does it get close to bottoming out or are your springs just too "springy". Oil is used to slow the rebound of the shocks. If you are having problems handling the air that your getting then you need stiffer springs. Remember. the stiffer the springs the heavier the oil you'll want.

with my stock 35wt oil only filled in like half the shocks it allways used to bottom out. But now i emtied all of it out and filled all 8 with 50wt shock oil and hopefully it wont bottom out. I havent tested it because im gioing to install the FOC today since my car is clean. k ill tell you the outcome. New springs soon to be on the shopping list.

thx

np let us know. If bottoming out is the issue stiffer springs will solve that not heavier oil. The good news is that you won't have to change the oil now that you have done so. Heavier shocks, heavier oil.
