Ordered my new engine...
So, I ordered my RB Concepts TM323 today, along with some other parts (FOC, and a new engine mount... mine is cracked) Only downside is they are backordered, so I am hoping I can get it soon! It says on their website that they should be in-stock on the 15th, but I talked to someone there and he said he didn't know when he would have it. Well, at least my name is on the list!

RE: Ordered my new engine...
the RB was 238 shipped. I have to wait 'til I get the RB in my truck before I do ANYTHING with the old engine. It's a strong engine, which is why I would keep it... but I've been thinking of selling it. And, don't worry, I'll be sure I post about it. I'll even take pictures of the box it comes in...
By then, I should have my TV tuner and will be able to show vids too.

You would think the .28 would, but with that .28, you add weight, too. ALSO with that .28 you might be a bit uncontrolable. Either way, come on down! I'd love to have someone else to race besides my friend ... another stock Revo...

I actually am still using the stock Talons... I really like the Moabs.. I think Proline makes 'em... I would love Velocity 6 40 series with Moabs... 'cause they look cool... but since I bash my truck so bad, I'm thinking of just ordering some stock rims/tires online. My rims/tires on my truck are so beaten, not sure I want to rip up a nicer set... ya know?

yeah true, the stock talons are already pretty thrashed, only had the thing for 3 days! i guess i should take it a little easier on the revo! somebody suggested taking the foam out.. but yeah that would just increase wear right? lol i cant wait to bash tomorrow [>:][>:][>:]

Yeah, I think I'm just going to rip these tires apart, then get some off of ebay... I can pick some up for like $40... if I had my Revo for Show, I would probably put the other rims/tires on it, but... I see no sense in it... which is why I keep the stock, screwed-up body... I'll replace it when it's so bad it doesn't go on anymore. Then, I'll probably get a nice body... since it's the same price as the Prographics body.

RE: Ordered my new engine...
yeah. why are rollcages so dang expensive? im considering just making my own and making mounts for the bumpers so theres no chance of bending the chassis.. think it sounds ok? or will that kill the bumpers?

Aluminum isn't very cheap, plus they like to turn a profit (basics of business...) I don't know much about rollcages... don't have one... don't have a need for one ... (if I break something, I'll just replace it...)

RE: Ordered my new engine...
I decided to not spend the money on replacing the stock body I trashed and I'm gonna roll with a roll cage. gonna make it myself. 3/8 tube steel.

I'm not one for the bowties... (or any of the sort) I guess they're good, they just make the Monster Trucks look too much like buggies.

RE: Ordered my new engine...
I don't like the moabs because I think the other designz would actually have a better chance of "grabbing" more dirt. The moabs look cool but I think the others would function better.
