RE: Uuuuuuughhh........
take your truck flip it upside down. Hold the drive shaft and spin BOTH tires the same direction, as they would move under acceleration. If the drive shaft turns then your diffs are fine. Then start your motor and try to hold your bellcrank still. Try to find something that will not mess up your bellcrank if it does spin but don't use your fingers lol. You might lose the end of one. if that all works, tear into the tranny.

RE: Uuuuuuughhh........
can you say "how much"? sounds like you BLEW only the forward gear and thats a good thing. try placing the truck in reverse and see if it runs. if it does then your looking at a $5.00 fix. installing a stronger engine without the metal or aluminum gears is trouble.......

RE: Uuuuuuughhh........
Hotchi i kinda got what you were saying so i picked up the front 2 wheels off the ground and spun them both forward and the truck went front. i did the same with the rear. I picked the tires up and off the ground and i spun them forward but there was about 1/4 of a turn of play. Is this normal with a spool in the rear?? but it still went forward.
Is it time to tear into the tranny?? and what am i looking for????

Oof, you must have one of the late 1st gen Maxxes if it's a set screw wtih the shank.
my LHS's have 'em in stock, I might have one layin around somewhere, but I doubt it.
just check your LHS's first, if not, just do what i said about that K&S piece, and then use the setscrew to keep it in place.

RE: Uuuuuuughhh........
YES i found IT!!! I went to my LHS(Big store) and ask them if they had it... and they said "Yea anything else for you" so i got it and picked up a new brake disc too. It came with the primary gears too for like 4-5 bucks(the pin). I fixed everything and installed the new carbon brake disc and drove my truck outside with my friend and his HPI rs4 3! It was fun.
Thanks to all who helped.[8D]
