Tightening the glow plug might work.

But first, take the glow plug out, put a rag over the cooling head, flip the truck upside down, put the ez starter in and crank the engine over for a good 10 seconds.

Then put your glow plug, or better yet put a new plug in and make sure there is a little copper washer on the plug as you put it in and tighten it up and you should be all set.

you would be better off if you waited until the engine cooled off before tightening it up. Tighten it, but dont kill it.

And if it wont run then, return all your needles back to the factory presets and try again.

Why? What if he just did not run the washer? Gah, the ignorance of some people.

The copper washer on the glow plug has a "cup" to it and it needs to go on in the correct direction. It needs to go cupped side down, like this.. ^. If not, it may not seal properly.

I thought it was flush with the glow-plug cup, thats what I read on the traxxas website...

No, I have always heard it should be the other way round.

\_/ <- threaded bottom of glow plug

That way when it's smashed flat it seals against the base of the plug and the engine head. The other way, the outer edge of the washer can extend past the base of the glow plug when tight and leak.
Anyway, that's what I've always heard. If you could link to where you saw it the other way, I'd like to see it.
