Yeah I`ve been thinking about going up there, thought it would be one oif the best spots around here. Also been going to the far car park at Newgale, jumping the grassy banks, broke my T Maxx in down there.

Yea the far car park would be good. I had some fun at the Aerodrome as well. I reckon you could have some fun up at the old Race course near Portfield Gate. Not to much to jump over but loads of flat grass to speed test on.

I am also planning to go up to Rosebush and have a bash round the old quarry/train sheds.
Just round the corner from me there is a bit of waste ground where people gave been running mini moto x bikes, but I managed to strip my spur gear within about 30 secs last time I ran there.
What are you running?

That BMX track sounds awesome!!
What is everyone running and who else is out there??
I`ve got a slightly ill T Maxx, still awaiting new fuel tank and engine mount, after a high speed impact, bulkheads, skids and various screws already replaced.

In sunny cardiff, don't really have anywhere to bash at the moment, I usually go back to the family home in mid-wales near Aberystwyth where there's plenty to drive.

PiccoRevo26 would def like to see pics of your Revo and the track. How are you finding the Picco?
Oliverhm, I bet there is loads of good bashing spots in the countryside around Aber!!! What modelshop do you use? The only one in Pembs is overpriced and won`t order spares if you didn`t buy your model from them!!!

Most of my stuff (stock spares) I get from antics model shop that I live above (haha, how convinient) or ebay if they don't have it. Stuff that I can't get anywhere in this country (quite frequently) I'll order from tower or in the US.
Seams to be a bit silly, they are doing themselves out of business!? Aber is great for bashing, there's a beach here about 4 miles from aber called ynyslas beach, it's got some great sand dunes, and excellant footpath trails which are great for tearing up.
Also, many many dirt bmx tracks to be had around the area which are always fun.
Only place I've found to bash in Cardiff is the huge park which is central, but I scare quite a few people and get quite a few angry looks (when I'm chasing their pets...) just kidding.

Yeah its just stupid, I refuse to spend a penny there now, not even on fuel etc.
So far I`ve been using ModelsinMotion and PhilGreeno Models, both have been really good.
That park has some nice banks....just by the river!!!!!!!!!! Oops that would be nasty lol!
I bet there`s some relly good woods to go bashing in up around Aber as well.

I'm from Ellesmere Port, Cheshire and am still fairly new to the scene so bashing hasn't really cropped up yet. As for general running, well, the office car park is about 5 mins from here, and they don't work weekends... 25 acres of woodland/grass/tarmac still await the Revo... Roll on the warmer and dryer weather! As for bits, I've found ModelSport give a great service.
Cheers all...
