yea they last way longer, no you cant charge them with that charger but this will [link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLD5&P=7[/link] you might need a different adapter if you dont get the trinity battery for all of these chargers
[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHFP0&P=7[/link] will just charge a reciever pack

[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXRY96&P=7[/link] that will charge the controller batterys if you dont have a AA charger already

[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFVD4&P=7[/link] this will charge the reciever

[link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNK66&P=7[/link]this will charge the recevier, and controller if your controler has that jack

I like Maxamps.com for batteries. They have good prices and make good battery packs. I have 3 receiver packs from them and have never had a problem with them.

you need 6.0 volts, mah the higher the better, and you put it in the same place it is now for the most proctection, but you unhook the battery holder and plug the pack into were that came from

Stupid question most likely, but can you have more than 5, 1.2v battery's installed into your maxx? I know that would then give out more volts, which I take it is the main issue?
