Default Uh oh...think i broke somethin

I was bashing today with my REVO and it still runs ok but when I was done I noticed that it wont roll backwards anymore when its turned off. It just rolls back about 2 inches and then stops. What could have broken that causes that?

Sorry in advance for the dumb NEWB question.

Diff maybe? Something in the tranny, but most likely the diff. Does it make any weird binding noises, or clicking when you drive it?

no. it seems to drive fine, just wont reverse. When its off and I roll it backwards i hear like a chain smaking against another chain type sound from inside it. I guess it might be time for me to finally take this sucker apart

I had a similiar problem where it would be kind of hard for it to go in reverse, it was a bad rear diff.[]
