TM323?
I’m thinking of getting a TM323 in a lill while. I made a Q&A thread a few days ago but I think it was deleted. The questions I had were all answered. But I have one more. Since the TM323 is a big block I would need the BB kit yes? I was looking at it on tower and for 40 buts theres almost nothing with it. I already have the FOC so theres 15 I dont need to spend again. Also is there any thing else I would have to get if I got this engine?

RE: TM323?
EVERYTHING needed. The TM323 comes with mount, header, and pipe. It accepts either the EZ-start... or 2.5r pull start. It uses the stock flywheel, clutch, and clutchbell. It literally is a DIRECT drop-in.

Revofamily, did you have problems buying your TM323? My local hobby shop is alway out of them. They only get a few and they sell them immediately. Very hot item. I might see if I can prepay for one and get them to hold it. I am definitely fitting one in my Revo this spring.

RE: TM323?
Yeah, they were out of stock for 3-4 weeks... the place I bought it from was pretty cool, though... they shipped it right from the importer (they're imported from France) to gain some extra time... The biggest problem with purchasing the RB Concepts engines is that they are made in France, and there is ONLY ONE importer in the U.S. and that would be Sigma Trading, which is actually a smaller mom-and-pop operation, that EVERYONE gets their engines from. Since the TM323 has become so popular, they are having a hard time keeping up with the demand. They are a great company, but... they just don't keep up with the demand as well as one would want. If your LHS has 'em for less than or equal to $238... go with them... but... if you want it... you can get it from http://www.acehardwarehobbies.com for $238 shipped to your door.... and they're GREAT people to do business with.

That makes sense. I did not know they were that small, I figured it was a large shop spitting out thousands of these. Maybe that partially accounts for the good quality, they take the time to do it right. The LHS quoted me $220 and have been pretty good to me, so I will probably buy it from them. I may just have to see if I can put a down payment or prepay and get them to hold one. Otherwise I will just go to the link and get it there. Thanks.

RE: TM323?
The 323 is a breeze to tune. I own two revo's one with a 323, the other a 18tm and I'd rate the 323 a 9/10 for ease of tune, the 18tm a 7/10 and the trx a 4/10.
