You can also click on the "Post Reply" button (bottom, left side under the page line of the thread) and then at the bottom of the reply window there will be a line that says "click here to upload". You can then pick a file directly from your computer and upload it to your reply. It supports jpeg's and such.
There are other ways too but I usually just use the direct upload.
