Not really unless it's just freezin then I dont run it. I run it a little rich and cover the engine head with a sock top to get the temp up. It helps a ton to have a temp gun if you run in the snow.

Yeah the top of the sock is all you need really. Just something to keep the heat in without completely encasing the head. You have to watch that you dont run it too hot even in the winter. I recommend a temp gauge. You can pick one up for around $25 and it'll save alot in the long run. Also a failsafe if you dont already have one. and put all the electronics in ballons. Ive ran mine in the snow second year now but just this year got the skis.

Don't cut a hole in your bodie, if there is not one in the forn of hte trukc you will find that the body will easily be warm enough to melt snow.
And i also find that keeping temps up in the snow is no problem, it is infact hard to keep the right temp, since the added strain of everything careying extra weight and haveing more resistence, added to haveing less traction, it actually keeps your engine working hard.

Hi all, i figured this would be the right place to post this, since it's all pics and stuff. I don't mean to interrupt your conversation about skids, but i need a favor from someone with a half-decent digital camera (3-4 mp or more). I play this game called 4x4 evo 2, and you can make trucks for the game in a program called Z Modeler. well, im at the stage where im putting the colors on it, and i need some higher resolution pics than the ones i've managed to scrounge up on the net.
If anyone's interested, PM me for the details. I'll be sure to credit you for the pics.
Here's some of the work i've done already:
