That looks like a completly diffrent truck in the vids. Its lookin real good so far. Are you racing it yet? In the vids it was really lean. there was no blue smoke comin out of the exhaust at all. I would richin it up soon b4 you fry ur motor.

Here are a few pics I snapped today. I think I'm the only person who chose all black RPM parts. Everyone buys blue. I am going for a black and polished/chrome theme as far as "bling" goes, but mostly I only bought stuff that serves a function. I should have taken some pictures with the 40 series Road Rage on black Proline Velocity wheels. It looks tough when its driving with that wheel/tire combo with the stock black body. Here is the rundown of what I've done to it.

Traxxas Resonator Tuned Pipe
Motor Saver Air Filter
RPM A-Arms
RPM Bumpers
GPM Servo Guards
3Racing Fuel Tank Cover
3Racing Vented Flywheel
3Racing Graphite Brake Disk
Dubro In-Line Fuel Filter
Traxxas 14t Clutchbell
Forward Only Conversion
Close Ratio Gear Kit
Traxxas Response Tires for Track Racing
40 Series Proline Road Rage for Asphalt Racing
Black Shock Socks
Dynamite Micro Failsafe
3Racing Aluminum Motor Mounts
Top Fuel 33%

why don't you take everything off the chassis and put ez-off on the chassis
You'll get a natural finish and then if you put polisher on it, it will look a bit better.

Here are some pics from my last race. I recently put the lrp.28 in it and it rips.....it runs a little rich because it had only 1/4 gallon through it but still I had no probs in keeping up with the truggies. however the race wasn't very good due to TWO broken shock rods in two heats and a broken slipper clutch, but in the end I was one place short for a place in the semi finals...

That thing is really nice. what sidepipe are you useing? I've been looking at a couple big block motors for a while now but I can't really make a decision. The only thing about having a big block is that I can't race at my local track because it indoors nd they don't want it to mess up the track... Its kinda small for it anyway. So if I was to get another motor it would be next winter because I already have an 18tz for racing. I would love to keep up with my bro's savy though! He's got an sts 30. I wont need to much to beat him though since the savy is so much heavier. And my revo only weighs 8lbs 3 oz. Good luck racing! You've got a great truck to race with!

lol yea i was thinkin that for a while now. but i was thinkin all that power in such a light truck..? I know i would change all the gearing and all but.. that still might be to much. even if I go with the center diff. full throttle of the line, I bet it still wheelies. I Plan on getting the vantage chassies later down the road so my truck will be EVEN LIGHTER. Thats why I've been looking around at the .28's like the lrp or picco. I know sts makes a .28 also so I have had a lot of diffrent choices to look at. If I do get a bb kit it will be the new era kit. hands down. My neibor has a picco .26 in his t-maxx and it keeps up with my bro's savage pretty well. Yea the sts beats it in almost everything(acceloration, tourqe, top speed, rpm, etc.) but the .26 isn't far behind.(at least i a drag race) Now his t-maxx isn't near as light as my revo is or will be so even a .26 would put up a good race. So going all the way up to a sts .30 wouldn't be needed to beat him. It would be crazy as hell but I dont think I need That much. I'll see how I like my 18tz in speed compared to my bro's sts .30 Maybe you guys can expect a video out of us sometime this summer. Just to see how they compare. I bet that will start a lot of talk! Post it on both forums(hpi nd traxxas) just to see what people say. COuld be a lot of fun!

All that power in a light truck would be rediculously fun! My Picco is fast but I am still seeking for more power[>:]

I hear more and more bad things about the STS, like they are "ticking bombs" waiting to implode. If I go true BB, Picco P3 .28 is my only choice!

^^^ really?... I know some people love there picco's but I haven't seen anybody still want even more.. LOL I guess you got used to the power.. [>:] Well for not enough power for my liking and other reason about that particular engine, I'm gonna stick with a high end .28 or the .30 [sm=bananahead.gif]

I use a Dynamite 053 and I can say that I'm very pleased about this engine/pipe combo. It has a lot of power, engine is very easy to tune and did I say that It's very powerfull? I run a 18/38 gearing and it's just because I'm using a centre diff that the front wheels keep touching the ground..
