Default Fast E-maxx

First of all, does anyone have a super fast E-maxx. Please tell me you upgrades and some pics if you have them. Next, can you run two brushless motors on one speed control? How fast can an E-maxx go with nice batteries and two brushless motors?

i think u can have 2 brushless but it not gonna be cheap but one brushless motor is way fast enought like 40+ if u get a nice one. thats nitro speed. lol

but try the traxxas e-max forum, they have alot of helpful people and info.

One Brushless motor honestly is fast enough, the motors run the same speed anyways.... It would just accelerate even faster. And it doesnt need to... believe me. I run the Novak HV-Maxx and two GP3300's and can keep it with my friends T-maxx. @ motors only adds weight and acceleration from both sides of the spur gear. Ill get pics up soon.

Ok, well its a waste for me to spend that much money to get a car to go 40+. I already have a revo that with a few minor upgrades can go to 45+. I was hoping a really hoped up e-maxx could go faster.

I've seen vids of 50 mph E-maxxes, but that is really really hopped up. It would take like 3000 dollars to get one to that speed.

ok, I could spend less than that to hop up my revo to 50+.

Or just use my Rustler, which I now use mainly on street which already hits 50+.

Well you could get 2 brushless motors and then gear up. That could make the top speed insane.

Yea, but it wil be too expensive. I can add a $500 worth of engine/mount/exhaust/gearing parts to my revo and get just as fast as the electric, but its not nearly the cost of an e-maxx, two brushless motors, and ESC, and gearing.

You could get a nitro to go twice as fast as an E-maxx if you wanted to.

Yea, I heard somewhere a hoped up electric could go way faster than a hoped up electric, but it doesnt seem like it after reading this here. If I put a .30 in my revo, it could get 60+. But that would be $500.

This is my Brushless Maxx... I am having a very hard time getting gearing and things to work to its full potential. Does anyone know a very good gearing pattern for the HV-maxx???
