Default Optidrive issue

Today I was out jumping my revo. I was near (15 feet) to a big puddle. I went over the jump and landed wrong and it cartwheeled into this puddle and sank to the bottom. I removed it within seconds and all of the servos made it out fine the motor restarted after some work. My problem is with the optidrive, with the throttle on it won't shift like normal, however it will shift if is moving. The little blue light is on constantly. I don't know if it is a sensor problem (which is cheap) or a optidrive problem(more expensive). No place around here sells them so I to order the right part. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just out of curiosity what does the sensor sense in the trans ie:is it magnetic. Could it be in the trans. maybe.

BTW. I don't want the FOC because reverse comes in handy to us new guys

Thank for all of your help

Is it not shifting into reverse or 2nd gear?
