Default over heated to meny times?

I think I may have overheated my tmaxx too many times. I would tun it show it would have just shift into 2nd gear but about 2/3 of a tank it would over heat and be very hard to start. it would start right up when I started it for the first time of the day. also the inside of the moder looks a Little black. what can I do?

Sounds kind of like you trashed the motor, need to rebuild it. Have you been doing after run procedure?

Sounds like your engine is running too lean. Tune it to run well, not to make power, I know it's hard to do but if you want more power, you need more motor.

You can change the shift point of second gear so it shifts sooner.

You rebuild it by getting a new piston and sleeve and possibly a new connecting rod.
